Great hostel.

The location is a bit hidden, but that makes perfect to avoid the sounds of Cancun night life.

The shared kitchen is not that good... Missing basics like cutlery, dishes and stuff.

But it has nice ambient.
I really enjoyed it.

Great value for money ratio.
Hostel with really basic facilities.
(+) There is a garden with nice spots to chill.
(-) Shared kitchen on the rooftop - not maintained at all.
(+) Wi-Fi is really good.
(-) Stream at the shower is very low, but got hot water.
(+) They have storage space for fair price.
(-) Cleaning could be better.

It was first time to stay at a hostel and I was worried about it a little bit. But, everything was more than I expected from the facility like air conditioners and showers and the cleanness to food and people. It was also nice that there are more reasonable restaurants around Venado than those of Hotel Zone.  And then the best thing about Venado was the vibes.

Super basic. Nothing more than that. Kinda loud for no reason, even when no one party or something like that, bathroom/showers/rooms/kitchen could be way way way so much better. No where to chill on my own, location is allso nothing special. Only reason i give it 3 and not less is because the volenteers where nice and because it could be worst..
The place is dirty.

Nothing specifically wrong about this hostel. Can be a bit hard to find at first. The whole vibe of the place was... interesting. The hostel across the street seemed to have a much better vibe in general. All in all not bad.

Bed itchy, loud, bathrooms dirty, floors sticky, hard mattress, ac didn't work well, stuffy room, no electric plugs on beds, small lockers (couldn't fit normal laptop backpack), no real blanket, hard pillow, sheet kept falling off bed, kind of a weird vibe.
Good location, good wifi, decent price.

Overall not recommendable. You deserve better sleep. 1 star because that's what it is.

P.s., in the photo, there is a charger plug next to the window and mountain of clothes (that someone couldn't put into their locker), that is the only charger plug for the entire room. And it doesn't even work well, your cable will keep falling out.
