The people always make the difference, and these guys made us feel like family right from the start. I stayed here last year and couldn’t wait to get back. The location is absolutely perfect in the heart of downtown - my favorite taco place is only a couple blocks away, as is the ADO bus station! The breakfast seemed to get better and better each day. And we spent many hours by the pool making new friends and memories! Definitely will be back!

I've stayed in better hostels. This one wasn't very clean, especially the bathrooms. Room was spacious, but the sheets were stained. Breakfast was really tasty, but they serve it quite late (9am).

I thought it was nice because of good rating and price. But got really disappointed. Was in same room with a homeless guy who smelled terrible, not able to change room. Lots of moscitoes in room, got severely bitten. Ac worked but poorly, was really far away from it. Only positive thing is the staff who are very friendly and helpful. Fast also. Breakfast was good. Better spend some more money and go to other hostel!

Perfect stay at this new hostel! Not a fan of tourist areas so was perfectly located for me and my partner, quiet area but really close to the bus station and a short walk to the city centre. 10/10 for staff and comfiness!

I booked a private room and when I got to my room I noticed that the room had not been cleaned or changed. It was disappointing because it was 9:00 at night and I'm tired from traveling. The owners weren't there but the volunteer was working and was very helpful. The owner and his girlfriend are easy going people.They live in the hostel and let their pets roam all over the hostel. I love animals but I don't like their hair all over my bed and belongings. The dog smelled horrible and they just let the smell soak up in the place without even bathing him. The cleaning is standard. I seen a roach in the kitchen one night as I was preparing a meal. You always smell cigarette smoke through out the house. They smoke in front of the door and on the balcony. They do not have a/c. The hot water always runs out. And there are always flying bugs around the complimentary breakfast food and ants on the counter. Poor volunteers they work them like slaves. When I was there I noticed the owners trying to single out one volunteer girl but she was great and very personable. This hostel is good for a night or two. cancun is a tourist city, buses run 24/7 and it's close to everything.

Kind and helpful staff, even though we surprised them with a very last minute booking. Our double room was very basic clean, thought it had two double beds and two showers so maybe used to be a dorm. Nice clean towels provided. Good for price, can’t comment on atmosphere or facilities as we arrived late and left early so didn’t use anything.

This is THE place to stay if you're looking for a hostel in Cancun! Granada 6 is the comfyest home i have ever stayed in. Our room was in the basement next to the pool. We had a private room. The common area one floor up was the perfect spot to have breakfast, drink some coffee and read a nice book.

The breakfast was the classic hostel breakfast of cornflakes, coffee, tea, bread/toast, jam, butter and some fresh fruit. Then they go above and beyond and make some scrambled eggs and baked beans.

The gang that runs the hostel have great tips on how to get around. And one of them even let us borrow their bikes for free to ride around town.

And now the best part: the ADO bus stop is an 8 min walk.
