I am very grateful to the staff at AMECAE. I live in the US and was having a difficult time securing consultations and appointments with specialists In the United States. I have been experiencing Pelvic and bowel pain for over six months without a clear diagnosis. Every doctor referred me to another doctor and I was still not clear on the source of the pain. I was just going around in circles with no answers. Most specialist in the US have a waiting list and are not accepting new patients. I felt like I had no one to turn to, just wait and suffer through the pain until I was able to finally see someone. That option was not something I could continue to do. I was determined to get my life back on track and have a clear diagnosis so I could begin treatment. We were referred to Dr. Oriol Olivera Rodriquez by a good friend. At first I was skeptical on traveling to another country to see a specialist, but we heard a lot of good things about Dr. Rodriguez so we decided to give him a try. My husband and I immediately booked a flight to Mexico given the great referrals we received from our friends about this Clinic. Dr. Oriol Rodriquez and his staff were Great. They were the perfect example of superior customer service. From start to finish the care I received from the staff exceeded my expectations and put healthcare services in the United States to shame. The Dr. showed extreme knowledge of gynecological disorders and made sure I understood my test results and my options. He provided a very nurturing atmosphere and I felt very at peace talking to him. He treated me like a human being, not a number- which happens so very often in the healthcare field. I had some diagnostic testing done and never have I ever had my radiology test explained to me in such a detailed manner while I was having it done. The radiology technician was so knowledgable and included me and my husband in the treatment plan. I left the exam room with a detailed understanding of what the results were. All my assessments were done in a timely manner and I was able to leave with a diagnosis and a clearer understanding of where my pain is coming from and how to treat it. I would definitely refer my friends and family to AMECAE, because their level of professionalism is second to none. The cost of my consultation was also very affordable. Like their Motto states: Su salud en buenos manos- I definately felt that my health was in good hands.
