Blah... chorizo for breakfast lacked flavor. I actually think the meat was not fresh. The location is great and the staff was attentive and friendly... for the most part. I had to ask for the cuenta twice. The next table had an issue with their order which consumed the staff’s attention. At that point the smiles stopped - for everyone not just the complaining customers.
It was too bad as I was really pulling for this restaurant to do well. As I’m typing this I am still waiting for my cuenta to be collected and my change to be returned.

The Zócalo Branch of 'La Casa de los Abuelos' is small and located on two floors. Food and service are good; you can choose indoor (air conditioned) or outdoor seating.
