El Cuyo is a pristine place where only a selected few go. Unspoiled by overtourism. The beach is great. Clean, ample. The water is however dangerous at times due to currents. Not for family swiming, but more for kite surfing and long walks. El Cuyo will remain "virgin" for many years because it is not easy to get there. The road is remote and the last strech narrow. The town is simple and under developed. Many boutique hotels here promote an in touch with nature policy.
