The caramel latte, the pizza fries, and the slice of velvet cheesecake I ordered were artfully designed and served--not to mention absolutely scrumptious! Not only that, but the building itself is beautifully (and perhaps somewhat eccentrically) decorated, and tables are available both inside and on the back patio. The bilingual owners are always friendly and eager to serve every guest that enters their little business.
I would highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone looking for a wonderful experience!

Cool, dark, eclectic, comfortable, intriguing, lounge type atmosphere...
BUT, with a bit of swagger, rather interesting vibe.
I came too late to eat this time, but the menu looks very tasty and I will be back soon as I am craving the fries...simple maybe, but the description of this comfort food combined with the atmosphere made it so much more appealing. Unfortunately, it's going to be on my mind all night...

I could easily see this being my new local spot.
I enjoy places where the people are friendly, the food is most likely going to more than satisfying, the coffees are wonderful u0026 where the atmosphere is inviting with a bit of edge.
Just enough European cafe feel that I find rare these days, but that are my favorite types of places to spend time.
Whether to meet new people, meet a group of friends, or just hang out and enjoy good food and coffee, maybe mingle with other locals, Velvet seems to cater to all.
I like the vibe...I appreciate the "9:15" for its uniqueness, but I don't like the actual time as I tend to be a late person. I will need to work on that aspect once I spend more time there for sure...
Hang out at Velvet...you just might like it!

Velvet Care u0026 Bistro is a good place to grab a bite and coffee when passing through the neighborhood. The options for food are somewhat limited but still good.

One personal recommendation can be pizza fries and guava tisane.

Nice quiet place to grab some coffee, eat a little, and relax a lot! This is not your snobby coffee shop. Time actually stops here, the decor is a bunch of clocks that are not running!!! ????????nice touch. At Velvet Cafe one can enjoy coffee and a slice of cake without feeling judged by other people, one of the house specialties is pizza fries ????????????????
I didn't get a chance to try them, but someone please do, and let us know how they are. This is a definite WINNER in my book. Great coffee, great desserts, great staff, most importantly get atmosphere that everyone will enjoy. ????+???? ☕+????

Really good. Had Red velvet cheesecake with a red velvet latte. They both had a vibrant color and were big portions. Menu included hot chocolates, frappuccinos, lattes, and cakes.

Yum! Had a Cajeta latte and pan muerto. Delicious! My wife had carrot cake with her Chai latte. The place is nice and the proprietor friendly and quick to serve! I'll add photos. Come by and hang out. The seating is comfy! Cheers!
