Absolutely hated the attitude of this one guy who works inside, from a US Citizen he was asking questions that were out of the topic making me feel very uncomfortable and he was giving a sassy attitude I even felt like he felt superior to others who think they own the place. No cabe duda que aveces de Mexicano a Mexicano somos bien culeros gracias por la ayuda. No recomiendo este lugar!! do NOT recommend this place what a horrible experience very rude and not professional.

My Son and Myself are American citizens. My son is ( 5 months old) need to perform a surgery in San Diego and they refused to give his Mom emergency Visa to accompany the baby to do the surgery. I think 5 months old deserve better medical attention than the embassy thinks. Anyway we regret we went to embassy and waisted 6 hours with our baby. We think we are racially profiled big time because the type of questions they asked us. Overall, USA accept many refugees from all over the world and cannot stand for its citizens to be treated in USA, what a shame.

They kept telling me I needed to send an email and I kept repeating I did already. They would not listen until I told them what email I sent my request for information too. I felt like they didn’t listen or want to help and just wanted to get rid of me. They wouldn’t even allow me to us the restroom. But Security was nice and professional when I asked questions. Nightmare experience due to bad communication and customer service skills.

I called today because I needed information for paperwork I needed to submit for a deceased U.S citizen. The lady over the phone told me it had to be through email, she sounded very fuzzy over the phone and told her so, as well as to please repeat the email address she gave me (I could barely understand her), but instead she hung up. I didn't get to write down the email.

Cross your fingers if you got no other choice but to call. Poor service.

Back in the late 90s my parents rented out our Beachhouse (in Rosarito) to this one young , white man and boy did he have an experience worthy of a Hollywood movie plot. Long story short: man went to TJ to go have fun and he was drugged by some chick after a few hours of thinking he was getting somewhere with her. The next day hThis poor man woke up in some rural part near some hills in some run-down house lol! He had no wallet. He walked a for about a day with no food or water back into the city. He tried going to the TJ police for help which ended up being a waste of time. Finally someone recommended he go to the US Consulate for help. The people here were overachievers. They got all the right people involved and sprung into action. High-grade detectives of the police were now involved and within a day they had the chick that drugged him and her handler in custody. He was able to personally go in and identify them at the station. After several weeks he drove up to our house (in California) to give us the rent money and told us the entire story.

I was a young teenager then but that was the first time I had ever heard of how great the US Consulate in TJ was. Ever since that experience I’ve held them in high regard. I only hope I never have to rely on them.
