Just across the border next to Mercado Hidalgo, you’ll find this spot for great birria.
You can enjoy it on tacos made on different types of shells or on consomé - the original way. The place is clean, friendly, prompt and efficient service. Found this place thanks to Lalo Villar from “La Ruta de la Garnacha” - We stop here often and every time we have had a great visit. Will recommend to everyone!

There is a line before you can get in but it's worth it. Food is delicious. Quesabirria and consume were yummy and they onions with habanero gave it just the right touch. The salsa was good too. Bathrooms are available and fairly clean. Parking is a bit of an issue but you can park inside the mercado and make it easier.

Good tacos and amazing birria!!! Great prices, easy to order and good customer service. Went on a weekday afternoon for lunch and place was only half full. Will come back for the birria!

Ok so this are the best Birria Tacos you will have in Tijuana. Simply delicious! Great service as well. QuesaBirria also very good! I would come to Tijuana again just to eat this tacos for sure!

These have to be one of the best birria tacos, QUESABIRRIA tacos I have tried! Highly recommended trying out. Make sure to get some "consome" with your tacos.

Birria de res is the standard here in Tijuana. The quesatacos and consome were excellent. The consome will be better when it is cold outside. Expect to park away and walk. Vale la pena
