Is is a no frills mom and pops family run eatery. The wife do the actual cooking and the husband helps with everything . Hector’s is right next door to Hotel Ticuan. First time i tried the Chilaquiles con Carne y Huevos which is excellent. Crispy tortilla topped with stripped beef , cheese and eggs plus refried beans on the side. The spiciness is just perfect, not too over powering . Will definitely come back here to try more on their breakfast menu .

You could tell it's a family owned place. The whole staff looked like each other. (Mom, Dad, Oldest son and a daughter.) The food tasyed like home cooking. I had the "Green Salsa Chilaquiles" probably the best I've had in a long time. Deffinetly going back.

It's a small,family run restaurant,where chilaquiles are the specialty of the house! They also serve extremely delicious breakfast plates u0026 lunch specials! Service is quick and the food,REGARDLESS of the plate,is guaranteed to be delicious u0026 filling,for a very reasonable price!!!! I HIGHLY recommend Hector's Restaurant for homestyle authentic Mexican dishes!!! Provecho......

It's a family owned restaurant, the staff is very friendly, the food is delicious, the service is great. Definitely a must try while in TJ. I recommend the Huevos Rancheros, the food has a traditional Mexican homemade taste.
