Chocolate Cake was really delicious, it was perfect flavor and decoration wise.
Prices are high compare to the size of the cake.
I had the chance to talk to the person in charge, she was kind of rude.
I asked for certain chocolates on top, I was very specific, she end up putting other stuff.

This place is brightly adorned and can't be missed. I've past lines of people here waiting to get in, so I declare this place popular and no doubt a delightful cafe in which to feast and hang out. Oui Repostería is in Brasil, a block off Blvd Agua Caliente in the fashionable Colonia Madero, which I'm told is famously know as the Cacho. It's not far from downtown. You can get close to here on one of the ubiquitous Red and Black taxis.

I supported this place since they opened but today was my last visit.

I wanted 4 little bite size macarones and they wanted to charge me 160mx for it. The dollar amount would be a little under $9.

Can't help but think there is double tier pricing for tourists ? I don't know one local who would consider paying those prices.

Instead I went to the pastry shop on calle 7 next to Hotel Leon and purchased a bag of 6 homemade merengues for 40mx ....roughly $2 :)

BEWARE TOURISTS - THIS IS A DISHONEST BUSINESS.

Similar experience to many other reviews posted about the double standard treatment toward tourists, here is my experience today.

Firstly, she charges me 80 pesos ($4.50) for 2 macarons. That is beyond what macarons would cost in the States, and she didn't even know what flavors they were.

Secondly, and most importantly she shortchanges me when I hand her a $20 USD bill. I know the exchange rate is $1 USD/18 pesos, it's posted in most of the restaurants who aren't trying to scam you and she claims it's different for her store. WHAT THE HELL? So she's not only taken the $4.50 for 2 macarons, but also took extra $3 for herself and refused to return my money, acting bitter at the fact that I would not purchase more, even though I had already explained I will be flying back across the world and don't want to carry perishable items w me the whole way.

I've been to Mexico many times, and this is the first time I've experienced such shameful, dishonest behavior from a business in Tijuana!!! What an awful human being - this was an older lady (in her 60s/70s).

Dissapointing... Expensive and untasty. I have tried better cakes at the natural bakery. I tried 2 different cakes, excesively sweet. I think when there is no flavor or technique, then add sugar... Wrong!
