Great service good food except when is too busy service got bad and long waiting times for a waiter to take our order and long time waiting for food to be serve 25+minutes

I’m so pleased to see La Especial is still in business. We used to eat there often when I was a small boy. I wonder if they still set a clay bowl of pickled carrot slices on the table. Those were my favorite.

The best vapor tacos in Tijuana. I highly recommend. Very delicious. I always get 2 meat tacos and 1 bean taco. So delicious! especially the veggies they give you on the side. Good price. Support local food stores. u003c3

Been coming here since the 60’s. It was one of the first places my old man ate at when he immigrated to the USA, back in the 50’s. It has become a family tradition every time we visit Tijuana! My mouth waters every time I think about Tacos la Especial!

La Especial is by all means, Special !This is the true flavor of Mexico! La Especial is where I began my life long passion for mexican food ! The flavor is so deliicate and HOT! I was 7 years old at the time. The experience is one of my fondest memories. My family and I left with our mouths burning that day back in 1963
