Top 5 best restaurants in Tijuana. Locals only place, hidden away in a strip mall in La Cacho. The food is outstanding, Osamu is a nice guy and the prices are fair. One man band (no other employees) just really adds to this place’s charm.

Thus is the most delicious Japanese food I have ever eaten. The menu has 2 options that make it incredibly easy. Teriyaki or Sushi. Everything is grilled in front of you. The cook is a Japanese man that barely speaks Spanish. But that sense of legitimate Japanese food and the fact that it actually tastes very good makes this a hidden gem.

Undoubtedly my favorite food in Tijuana.
I've never come across a chicken teriyaki dish as delicious as this one.
A simple menu: a teriyaki bowl, or a teriyaki bowl with a side of sushi and miso soup. These are also available as take-out.
Along side the food there's an assortment of drinks to choose from.
Be mindful, though, as the place is run by only ONE person. So the orders are "first come, first serve".

Truly a must try place!

I have not found a better Teriyaki bowl in Tijuana. The cook manages everything himself, so it does get crowded and cluttered sometimes, but please be patient, it will be worth it.
