This was a super nice hotel and the staff was amazing at times.

We ordered room service for my friend after surgery and we waited close to two hours and even called a second time and they still never came… we called for the night nurse and waited over an hour another time… but other times the room service and night nurse came super fast. I guess it depends on the time and who you are talking to.

The rooms were pretty clean, we stayed on the tenth floor and our bathroom door would stick to something in the ground and made a God awful noise when you opened it. Also, you could hear ever single person walking in the hallways as well as in other rooms talking.

The restaurant on floor P, was really really good and the waiters were very nice and attentive.

All and all I would come back, I felt very safe here and the staff is super nice and helpful!

One of the best hotels I've stayed in. Everything was clean and great. The service was outstanding. Having transportation options right in front of the hotel made getting around Tijuana super easy and affordable. I would definitely stay here again the next time I'm in the area.

Medical floor and team is top notch. Hotel has updated look and feel, very clean. I did not get to explore everything offered there, but all services used were great. Room service was great. No problems with any of the room amenities

Its the best hotel I've stayed in TJ so far. 24 different stays to date for business.
You can see that the building has aged a bit but its still good. Best comparison is an older Mercedes to a new Hyundai with the Grand Hotel being the Mercedes :-) Its the better car by far but it has some scratches and dings. If you can see past that, you will be very very happy with this Hotel!

So sad I'm having to write this. My family and i have been coming here for years, since I was a baby, and it has been our go to hotel for when visiting Tijuana. It was such a nice place but recently it hasn't been a good experience. Staff are rude and not helpful. For our party of 3 they only brought 2 big towels and no other small towels and one of them was dirty with brown gunk all over it. We asked them to bring more and it took them an hour just to come but they didn't even bring the small towels. When we asked them to bring them, they said it wasn't their fault that the staff didn't restock properly and then they said they didn't have enough towels so we didn't get any. They also only brought one packet of coffee and one mug for the 3 of us and when we asked for more they wanted to charge us extra. Parking is $15 every time you go in and out. The first room we got before being moved was very outdated and ugly and the sink was clogged. I understand if they are low staffed but I don't get why they can't take accountability for any of it. Such a shame as now my family will not be staying here anymore. And I don't care for any lousy scripted apology that I see them leaving on other posts, they do not care and neither do I.

The ammenities are great! But the room was dirty, the you can see fresh dirty stains from the carpet. The blankets looks like they just put it back. It does not smell fresh from laundry, it smells like someone have used it already. Very dusty. Zero for cleanliness. But 5/5 for room service who will bring your orders right away.

Positive: Wonderful hotel. The staff knows your name and the housekeeping staff is always asking if you need anything. I asked for a room with a better view and the immediately accommodated. It is great to be able to play with the slot machines also!
