Have loved El Pollo Loco for about 35 years. The way they baste and cook the chicken makes my mouth water just thinking of it. $20 for two will leave you with leftovers.

Be prepared to eat...ONLY CHICKEN! Not the classic El Pollo Loco experience you usually have. No pollo tostada bowl nothing like that. Just whole chicken fried. Maybe they'll break off u drumstick for you but that's about it. So if you're in the mood for chicken and nothing else your good. If you think your going to order El Pollo Loco food...your not!

This is a rotassary (baked) chicken shop. There are 10-12 of these- under this name in Tijuana. This one is one of two that is closest to my apartment y they do deliver in the local area. Regular offers include salad o cole slaw, beans, Rice y if course chicken. Only one type the baked rotissere type. Tasty y usually well prepared especially during mid-day an afternoon. Late night offers can be a bit dry. GOOD, económica o good at the location o delivered to you. Recently they have added a maccaroni salad that is very good!! (If you are outside this Pollo Loco 's delivery area---try Pollo Asil(Telephone #6842204) they are located right across the street y deliver in the Centro y Aquacaliente Sections--also very good roast chicken).

Always come here for chicken when traveling abroad. Wish the place would get some repairs done, the chicken is pretty good.
