Had an incredible experience here. The restaurant space itself is really beautiful and the food and drinks were SO good. I had the Zicatela Surfing mezcal drink and the enfrijoladas with a side of arroz y aguacate. I will definitely be coming back!

Great southern (Oaxaca u0026 yucatan food) in the heart of QRO. Touristic though - unfortunately very slooooooooow service.

Not what it used to be… I live in the city and I had visited this place several times in the past and I always had a good experience… until today: we had to wait long time before the waiter came to ask what we what to order (more than 30 mins after being sat at the table). The food took as long to come, and for our great disappointment, we ordered the Tlayudas as usual but this time the portion was mostly tortilla with “unto” and very little meat and cheese. When I asked the waiter about this and why it was this way if in the past the food was well served, he replied: “I’m sorry Sr., but this is the portion of meat and cheese they order us now to put in the tlayudas and in fact many customers had complained about the same”. It was really sad to hear that. I know this is not his fault, since he follows the orders given to him, but whoever took this decision does not understand that this kind of things will just scare the customers away!!! We know inflation is on this sky and that things are very expensive, but I honestly would understand to pay a bit more to receive a good meal and not to put a lot for a tortilla with unto and some pieces of meat. I’m questioning myself if I should go back there soon. I hope this message reaches whoever needs to change things. BTW, during the time we were there I saw how two customers left the place even before they receive attention for the same reason… too damn slow!

Great service, they allowed us and our dogs in. The mole was delicious and the tlayudas was excellent. Big meals! Come hungry. Enjoy a bowl of margarita.

This was one of the best meals I have had in Mexico to date! The portions were beyond generous (read: I did NOT finish my plate) and filled with flavours. The variety of Mezcal was pleasant and the taste sweet. The variety of deserts was equally quite surprising. I was told by my local friends that the food is traditional and one of the best available in the region and my taste buds have to agree. The service was equally respectful and worthy of a family venue. Above and beyond satisfied. The memories will stay with me for a long time!

The decoration is amazing!, Staff is mostly friendly, it depends of who takes care of you. Dishes are good and tasty. Location is very nice but traffic is full. No parking lot available, some vegan dishes are available. Prices vary from cheap to expensive.

We came to Maria y su bici because it had great reviews, and it did not disappoint. For non locals this is authentic Mexican food! You will not find burritos or tex-mex here. Much of the food was from Oaxaca. There are moles, caldos, and other dishes steeped in tradition. You can even order "chapulines" or grasshoppers. I got the grasshopper and ant tacos. To be honest they weren't my favorite, but they weren't bad either. They were very salty with an interesting texture. The other food we ordered was very good. We got enfrijoladas, and tacos with mole. The waiters of the restaurant are very kind and helpful and there is even a playroom for the kids. Overall this was an amazing and authentic experience for us.
