PROS:
The rooms are clean and spacious, breakfast buffet has plenty of option, and staff is attentive and helpful.
The location is off the freeway, somewhat easy access, and near stores and restaurants.
CONS:
- Parking can be an issue during the weekend when the clients from the restaurant that is next door park in the designated hotel guests parking spaces.
THE ISSUES WE HAD:
- Management rented out the pool area to host a party on Saturday night. The party was load, with music blasting, and people singing out load. Our room was on the first floor and two rooms away from the pool area. When I asked front desk when the party was going to be over they said 11pm. Around 12:30am the party kept going. I went to the front desk again, and they were kind enough to offer us another room, on the other side of the hotel on the 5th floor. I had to present at a conference the next morning, and I was not able to get proper rest that night with everything that happened. SEE VIDEO.
- Pet Fee Issue: management did not agree to honor the pet fee that was advertised in our original reservation at their sister hotel (Hilton Garden Inn Qro). We got transferred to this Homewood hotel since the other hotel was not pet friendly, even though it was advertised as pet friendly on hotels.com. So we had to pay $47 USD more than we expected as pet fee. Management did not care that this was not our fault.
UPDATE (June 28,2022):
As you can see "the owner" replied to my review asking to contact them via website or phone number. The phone number provided is incorrect as it belong to a person not Hilton. Mediocre attempt to provide "good" costumer service.
