You have to realize these days, positive reviews can be bought cheap. Tonight I had by far the worst lasagne I have ever had in my life, 60 years. Worse than any frozen, processed lasagne of any kind, let alone in a restaurant. And forget about this being lasagne Bolognese. No. It was a can of tomato sauce slopped on a not fully baked mess of hamburger and cheese, not fullt cooked or melted and definitely not hot.
The pesto garlic house bread was good.
One other couple came in and was told by the owner he was out of fettuccine. Obviously the place is struggling, and the owner was very personable and friendly. But the lasagne was inedible, and absolutely the worst imaginable.
I should have ran when I came into the empty place with mediocre decor but I gave it a chance. Big mistake. If this was their idea of a Bolognese sauce, you'd be so sorry to order it on any other pasta dish. I mean, a jar of Ragu or Chef-Boyardee is much better. It was almost like a plain tomato paste It is impossible that any real patron could give an honest review about this food, or that this joint could have a 4.5 star cumulative rating. Avoid at all costs.
