The check in time is 3:00 pm, and we got there at 4:15 pm. The receptionist said our double room was not ready and offered a single room. I let her know we reserved a double, because we were 3 adults and one kid, so there was no way we would fit in a single. My 7 year old granddaughter was tired and needed to rest and use the bathroom so I asked how long would it be, and the receptionist responded 15 min. She asked us to wait in a single while ours was ready. The room smelled like pesticides and humidity, and an hour an a half later, our room was not ready yet, so we decided to cancel the reservation and leave. I would have given the hotel 0 stars, but there is no option for it.

The rooms were quite spacious and clean, the breakfast was nice and even though the hallways were a little crammed, it was bit broad enough. There is also a small gym and outdoor pool, as well as a basketball court if you fancy doing some sports during your stay. Either way it is a cozy little hotel with good services.

Wonderful hotel, very modern, clean and nice staff. There was a language barrier during my stay due to my limited Spanish, but the staff did what they could to help convey information and take care of our group. There was also a great breakfast here in the mornings. There are also many great restaurants and bars within walking distance. And for longer stays a supermarket right behind the property.

It's a tremendous deal for a budget hotel: good breakfast buffet, clean rooms, walking distance to restaurants and bars.

This is the second City Express I have stayed in and I liked it. These hotels are modern and geared more towards business travelers but I like them as a tourist. Everything works and there is a/c.

While this hotel location is on the north side of town there are plenty of Ubers nearby and you can get to the historic zone in 10 or 30 minutes, depending on traffic.

Its a great place to rest, sleep and affordable. I'll recomend it.
