The food was filling and fairly affordable but was a bit dry and not that flavorful. They may have run out of AVO as we didn't get guacamole with our meal as the menu said. Probably still worth going for 8 peso tacos on taco Tuesday though!

Edit: we went back here for taco Tuesday and the food was SO much better, not dry at all, tasty, super filling and cheap! Would definitely recommend!

Ordered their Bistek Nachos and loved every bite of them! They were flavorful, packed to the brim with vegan meat, salsa and guacamole. Chips super crispy. I love the fact that the kitchen is in the heart of the restaurant and you can watch them prepare your food. Immediately gives me a good feeling and tells me they got nothing to hide about the preparation process. Devoured those Nachos like nobody's business and gulped down their delicious Horchata. Compared to all the vegan restaurants in CDMX this was an absolute bargain! Staff very attentive and helpful. Highly recommend!

absolutely terrible, avoid! - my partner got the worst food poisoning ever the day after coming here (looking back on our day, I'm certain it was food). I wasn't great either.
Besides that, the veggie tacos are plain boring.
Avoid, avoid!

Edit: after stupid response from staff who clearly don't care about improving their restaurant: 1. Yes I did get sick also 2. Food poisoning does work like that.

What a shame, as a vegan restaurant could be such a good highlight for the area. Avoid.

Loved this place, the food, the service, prices and portion sizes. Everything was perfect. The ladies who work here are so sweet and welcoming.

My wife and I shared a plate-for-one and it was still so filling. It comes with 4 tacos, one burrito, fries, salad, guac and grilled onions. Pro-tip: they don’t sell beer here but you can bring your own.

We will definitely visit again☺️.

Nice small vegan restaurant. Offered specials through out the week. Salsa are spicy and tacos are very well served. Most go to if your looking for vegan tacos.

I'm not vegan but I love to try meat alternatives once in a while. Here i tried the burrito al pastor and it was really delicious. The side dishes were also amazing (crisps and guacamole). Highly recommended.

On a side note, there was a disturbing bumper stick that read "research flat earth". I hope it was just a bad joke.

Delicious, filling, and inexpensive are all words used to describe this up and coming VEGAN taqueria. The owner, Sofia, makes sure to make you feel warm and welcome, and wouldn’t let us leave still hungry. This amazing hole in the wall offers tacos, burritos, rice bowls, fries and even family style “Charolas” (platters) along with some delicious homemade lemonades, jamaicas, and horchatas. Veganos La Taqueria is a must eat restaurant here in San Cristobal. Even local meat eaters come to devour these tacos, and you should too!
