First things first: the margaritas, these are amazing! If you’re not into sweet, overpriced and low-alcoholic cocktails: definitely come here. If you don’t want to fall off your seat after two cocktails, you should definitely try some of their dishes. Would recommend their Fish-, shrimp- and Gobenador tacos (and tostadas (!)). Also don’t miss out on the ceviche; fresher than this you won’t get in San Cristobal. To finish things off; the best thing arent their cocktails or seafood tacos, it’s the amazing hospitality. 10/10

The proprietor works hard to please his target audience, which are the tourists out having a good time; and bridge the gap between sharing of his identity while appealing to what many visitors want and miss. I ordered and proceeded to eat 13 tacos he made of various kinds. I think that qualifies as a pretty good like. The "taste aesthetic" is not for everyone though, but I think it will please quite a few. I also love that he snagged a good location and it is a joy to sit on the andrador and people-watch, talk with passerbys, and interact with the proprietor, Mel. He is a friendly and great guy to boot - and is willing to share the depth of his personality, especially if you make the effort to speak in Spanish. He is pretty fluent in English, and like most of the people here, will accommodate you.

Mel is the man. He makes you feel welcome from the start, and the drink specials are yet another reason to make this spot a regular stop. Haven't tried the food yet, but we certainly will on one of our upcoming visits!

Extremely rude service, waiter insulted my girlfriend. I dont reccoment the food, be prepared to wait a long time to be served, very amateur.

Best bar in san cristobal! Good company, cheap and good drinks. Ive been to almost every popular bar in San Cris, but this bar made me feel like home, they gave me presents, sent me off with souvineers and free drinks and good vibes.

Great tacos, great service, great price.

Would reccomend
