Great experience . We walked around for more than an hour , looking at work from artisans from Mexico and Guatemala . Some make things right there, especially people with Jewelry. You can see them making beautiful pieces right there and also can ask for any adjustments or even get a piece made for a very reasonable price. I got a silver earring made for me right there !

We went there a Sunday and half of the shops were closed, hence we might have missed the good shops. However the half of the shops (open that day) is not worth the visit. They all sell the sames cheap souvenirs. This is very disappointing and does not show the craftsmanship of the local artisans.

Loved it!! So much better than the crowded tourist areas! The prices are reasonable and you can experience life as a local.
