This is a hostel too..amazing menu reasonable as all the little extras. Checked in 6am no extra charge..lovely clean bed 2 fluffy blankets towel real hot shower ... nice home touches everything a hostal should be but ususlly never is. Suitqble for any age everything close by .. first time such a warm welcome by Ellie the owner. Nothing too much trouble. Vegetarian options on menu. Kitchen with fresh water 24 7. Safe boxes ..24 7 reception. Was stressed as cyclone heading for P Escondido so left after 1 day as most beaches tours closed up bad weather. Here is a tiny paradise too so am veey happy now! Su casa es mi casa is what you get as a vibe here. Amazing. ????????????????????????????

Loving it. The atmosphere is just great, in a beautiful garden, with relaxing music and friendly service. Varied menu, with everything from simple hash browns and bacon to more regional/traditional dishes and drinks I hadn't seen before (and lots of vegetarian/vegan options).

Update: management has changed in the last 10 months and the service quality has really been down and the food is pretty much the same but portions are smaller. I do like that they added kids area and play things. They needed better servers.

Old review: Most impressive restaurant in all of San Cristobal De Las Casa so far. The food is excellent, the portions are generous, the service is excellent, the music selection is artistic and eclectic, the atmosphere is so down to earth and nicey kept, they accommodate food preferences and sensitivities. I will be frequenting this place

La arrachera is simply delicious. The side potatoes and vegetables are great: good seasoning and not overcooked. Everything was cooked to perfection and tasty. The meat is served with a piece of bone marrow so you can make tacos of arrachera with bone marrow, salsa, lime juice and pinch of salt… it’s just awesome. The service was faster than the average for this town.

I took my wife here for our 2 year anniversary. This is an amazing place! They had Vegan options for my wife. I am not Vegan and there were options for me as well. Its located before all of the foot traffic so ITS VERY PEACEFUL!!!! I recommend checking this place out asap because it's only a matter of time before its packed ALL THE TIME

Amazing morning spent having breakfast at this restaurant. My husband and I sat in the garden enjoying the peaceful ambiance and delicious food. I had the vegan croissant which was great and I would definitely order it again. If you are in town you have to stop by!

Idyllic setting in a lush garden patio. Wonderful ambiance, great music and welcoming attentive service from Mel and his staff. Appetizer was a guacamole turned up a notch with added cheese and mushrooms served with fresh handmade tortillas followed by a fresh and plentiful Earth and Sea salad and an authentic baguette sandwich with a super tasty gravy type sauce for dipping the crusty bread in served with real home cooked fries. Sublime truffle coconut dessert and refreshing mint lemonade. Found this gem on our 3rd day in town and will return often during our 4 month stay.
