Best stay ever!
The location of the hotel, close to everything but in a quiet street, was perfect. The hotel itself, the rooms, the decorations, was like out of another time. Everything is old fashioned, in a wonderful taste, old wood, old cars, extraordinary well taken care off.
But the best part of all - the stuff! The two young man are so caring and and friendly, you can not imagine. Digestives, liquors, coffee and tee is complementary. We didn't book with breakfast, but had breakfast every morning there, it is awesome! Best breakfast in Mexico so far (for that little of money!)

So - my honest recommendation!

Do you want to know where the soul and heart of San Cristobal De Las Casas lives? It lives in this hotel and his name is Mario. He is a man of many talents. I can't fathom what kind of beautiful soul lives inside of this man. The hotel reflects it all. Every detail is made with love. It is felt in every inch of its interior. Stay here and you won't regret. Also, don't forget to buy one of the amazing pieces he makes with his own hands. The quality of his makings is outstanding.

The most memorable hotel I stayed in mexico, it’s a family run hotel and they are the most hospitable people with free tea, coffee and even wine - the breakfast was great to, I loved it!

This is one of the best hotel boutiques in Mexico. Mario and his family are amazing . The rooms are beautifully decorated. You can have a super nice breakfast at the restaurant and there is always free coffee, house wine and cookies. The wifi is a bit spotty but overall I had an amazing stay! I totally recommend it

That was one of the best hotels I’ve ever been to. The level of hospitality was amazing as well as attention to details when it comes to design. The best place to stay when you go to San Cristobal.

My boyfriend and I stayed here and absolutely loved it! The whole family who runs the place is so kind and thoughtful. We were offered things all the time such as coffee, wine, water, etc. And they were more than happy to serve us anytime we needed something. The room we stayed in was stylish and comfortable. We especially loved the little electric fireplace in the room which we would turn on at night when we would watch Netflix in bed. The atmosphere of the hotel is very picture worthy, we took many photos and when we asked if we could take photos by their 1940's car they did something even better and offered to take us for a ride around town in it! It was absolutely lovely! Count on us being back next year! We also love the little bag they gave us as we left. I have the keychain on my keys now.

We stayed in the balcony room and loved it. There was a heater, Netflix and complementary tea, coffee and wine as part of the room. The hotel is light filled and nostalgically decorated.
