An upstairs location in a neighborhood so mostly local clientele and not accessible for the disabled.
We were an elderly group of 13 celebrating 3 anniversaries of 34. 40 and 40 years respectively. The roaming musicians largely ignored us preferring to play to local groups so some of our planned celebrations were muted.
The picture attached was meant to be a filet of red snapper but the waiter persuaded me that the whole fish was the same price and better value. As one can see, this poor fish went through the business end of a crematorium before reaching me.
Using a handheld credit card machine, the waiter asked what tip I had in mind. I said 10% based on some sketchy service and food and he promptly processed a tip of 20%. Being in pesos and not having my old person glasses, it wasn't until after the fact that I noticed.
A couple with me asked for a single lobster tail and a skewer of shrimp each. The waiter persuaded them that a small platter would be more economical. When they got their bill, it was u003e5000 pesos or US$253, far in excess of what they were quoted. It was only after a twenty minute argument that management relented and reduced the bill to a more reasonable amount.
Some people might have better luck but not personally planning on returning.
