It's a beachfront resort with the option for all inclusive. They have multiple restaurants between the club and hotel, you have access to both. Make sure to have them put your discount card number on your receipt, even if they tell you it will automatically be applied. The one bedroom room with kitchenette is a true one bedroom, however the two bedroom is more of a unit with two separate rooms with one main door, then two separate rooms two room key doors that can be left open to move freely between the two rooms. Both rooms has its own bedroom, closet, TV, desk and balcony, however kitchenette is in the room with the Murphy bed, so it's not exactly a suite, but sort of. The kitchen has a refrigerator, breakfast bar, dishes, three pots, toaster, coffee maker, sponge, drying towels, drying rack, no dishing liquid, stove with two cooking units, oven, silverware, knives, wine opener. There are two pools, one outside beachclub, the other outside of the hotel, you have access both, there us much more. *Side note* 24 floor and above are upgraded and a slight remodeling with a whirlpool style tub. It's worth a visit. Unfortunately my wife is the photographer in the family and has the hotel pictures, but I encourage you to check out their website.

The place has grown on us. The pool and poolside service is excellent! Our room is cleaned with detail. A generous tip resulted in dishes being washed and even charging cords rolled up!
The suite we have is small and only really wanting in 2 areas: kitchen is puny and awkwardly laid out, and, NO balcony!!! That was a big disappointment.
The beach is course sand and stone and is not suitable for family swimming. The hotel is well located close to the Malecon and grocery stores.

Great experience, but no pool activities. There is a beautiful beach but it's extremely rocky, so is the sand. Plenty of places to eat, from gourmet to simple eating. They have a small store to get items such as milk, snacks, alcohol and other items. I would go back again.

Although this is my second time staying here I got to say the check in was just horrible. The front desk agent working at night, Carlos who just doesn't give a #$@! (Plain simple doesn't care) any requests we had at night he couldn't make any changes. Come early morning though Azucena another front desk agent working in the mornings will make things possible and will make changes with no problems what so ever. Why the difference may I ask, I don't know. The staff all around is alway friendly and polite. The only exception was the Front desk agent Carlos. We will have the opportunity to come back once the renovations are complete hoping for a much better experience when we check in.

This review is regarding the Club building at the south end. Unless you are an owner, you’ll probably get a very old room like we did. They are currently updating the “club” building. (We booked through our timeshare company, RCI. We did the presentation to get oceanview rooms. To their credit, it was the shortest presentation we’ve been through, largely because we saved all of our complaints until the end.) But as a family who’s been to Mexico over 30 times, we are surprised that the pool area isn’t updated. (More often than not, the pools will be very nice, but the rooms will be in need of updating.) The main walkways around the pools are made of old brick. There’s basically nothing special about this resort. There’s no river pool, there’s no lively music at either of the pools, there’s no consistent nighttime show or night club, there’s no infinity pool or really much of an ocean view at all from the pools. (I suggested they build the next pools closer to the ocean.) The ocean, as in all of PV and NV, is just a dark blue, no aqua water like the Caribbean side or north of Nuevo Vallarta on the point or even Cabo.

We have two, one-bedroom units, and only one of the four ancient phones work, and even that is intermittent. One of our sinks barely drains, and there was a long hair in our fridge when we arrived. Worstly, one of our units had two beds that had sheets that were so wet we couldn’t sleep in them without using our heating pad to dry them out or layer my daughter with blankets from home so she wouldn’t have to feel the dampness. It’s not so bad in my room because I don’t use the A/C, but she keeps the A/C on, and I swear it’s sending the moisture back into her room. Everything is damp in her room, and we’ve been here for three days. (Yes, she uses the fan during and after she showers.)

I’m just really surprised this place gets great reviews. I’m guessing they’re from from people that don’t visit large resorts in Mexico much, or maybe they advertise to residents more than the others.

The nicest place we’ve stayed? Besides lack of an aqua ocean, the Vidanta in Nuevo Vallarta is very nice and elegant, especially for how relatively inexpensive it is. (I don’t like the Vidanta in the Mayan Riviera near as much.)

Perfect getaway, the Presidential suite was plenty of room with a full refrigerator, microwave, and two burner stove! Relaxing, great pool area, stress free environment, plenty of activities close by - great experience!

Took my sister with me to my timeshare. The lines were LONG checking in BUT...THEY ACTUALLY WALKED UP AND DOWN THE ISLANDS WITH MARGARITAS, GUACAMOLE AND CHIPS...My sister was overwhelmed..THEN the vacation just got better...
