The servers were attentive, the ambience was great and a nice scoop of ice cream for our birthday boy with a candle.

The food was pretty good! Our family of 4 had 3 kinds of appetizers (Squid, chicken wings, egg rolls), 2 drinks (Passion fruit u0026 Thai Iced tea) and 4 main dishes. Our little kids liked the spicy scale, just right.

Pineapple Fried rice with chicken (also our favorite but needs more pineapple flavor, had a lot of chicken chunk which was overpowering the rice and pineapple flavor.)

Why 4 star?

The red curry was just not authentic tasting and not swimming in sauce. Needs more red curry and smaller slices of veggies. The flavor was lacking, the veggies were chunky, cubed (broccoli, red bell pepper, cauliflower, etc). But the coconut rice was flavored subtly with a little sweetness. Perfect!

The pepper beef was a bit hard and chewy but very flavorful and not that spicy. The sauce was runny and quite a bit of soy sauce. Pretty good!

But all in all - it was very good as long as you know what to expect. Service was plentiful, manager was attentive, most of the food was good. Ambience is also great.

We ordered shrimp wontons, beef broccoli and drunken noodles. The wontons and beef broccoli were good, however the drunken noodles tasted like packaged food. The flat noodles left an after taste. We also ordered the passion berry drink recommended by the waiter because I wanted something with fresh fruits to share with my kid. It was so sour that I couldn’t even take a second sip. My husband who likes sour fruits thought it was bad too.

Oh did I miss Thai food ????????
Definitely worth your time to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine dining in Puerto Vallarta.
We dined at the Romantic Zone location but they also have one at Fluvial.
The quality and taste is really good and they provide spice levels for their dishes.
I can handle my spices, so I picked level 2 and oh did I sweat! (The good kind of swear of course!)
We devoured the Papaya salad, yellow curry and pad Thai. All vegetarian.

All in all I highly recommend! The service was excellent too. I had many different dishes and cocktails and they were all very nice. My only "issue" was, their Green Papaya salad was not great. The flavor was not there nor was the texture (they cut the papaya into ribbons as opposed to the traditional method). That being said still very good Thai food and I great change of pace....

Excellent food, excellent service, very reasonable prices. The food is fairly authentic Thai, with a bit of latitude for local ingredients and culture (spicy is very mild). I have been here multiple times and will continue to return.

I have dined here 2 times in the past month and found both experiences to be exceptional. The restaurant is clean and welcoming. The staff are top rate and really seem to enjoy being there. I am vegetarian and there are several delicious options. A good suggestion is the yellow curry with tofu - filled with carrots, snap peas, squash, and broccoli. Great size and well spiced. Siam Cocina Thai is definitely on our monthly rotation!

The atmosphere is really nice and the food was good. The food is similar to most Thai flavors you would get in the states. Other reviews show mango and sticky rice but we were told that was only an option during opening week. The service was also great.
