Ritmos aka Green Chairs is the place to go for a great relaxing day on the beach. Our staff is there every Sunday after work to enjoy an ice cold beer, a comfortable lounge chairs. The waiters are awesome and are very attentive for how big the place is and how many people are there. Would highly recommend if you are looking for a cool place to go.

This beach bar has amazing servers and great views. I love their location on the beach. They will set up chairs and umbrellas for you on the beach, and the swimming in front of the club is nice.
If you want a beach day highly recommend this club as they have bar service and food available. They also didn't charge a door cover when we visited.

We tried going to the beach club Mantamar but it was full and so glad we came to ritmos instead. It’s free to sit at the beach chairs all you need to do is buy drinks or food no minimum. Way better deal and the service was great and drinks were strong. Goyo was our server had a blast!

This place doesn’t charge for the beach chairs and there’s no minimum spend. At least in July, low season. So we came here everyday instead of the identical Blue Chairs next door. We only had drinks, they were perfectly good.

First of all, I believe this is still the best spot on the beach to spend the day, however one day strangers were allowed to join us under our umbrella until another spot could be found. They were smokers (we are not) u0026 they were coughing. Additionally, they were offended when the sun shifted u0026 we needed to move our chairs to avoid the sun u0026 asked them politely to move. Then today, we were ordering many rounds of Patron shots. The 3rd or 4th round was diluted with sugar water. Sure, we drank some of it…and a little more before we were able to bring it to the waiter’s attention. He tasted it and agreed it was not correct, but said since we drank most of it, there was nothing he could do. Management should not be watering down the shots. And, when discovered, should make it right u0026 be honest. We were not given a refund or a replacement. This is not right. Beware!

As a full time resident of Puerto Vallarta, I frequently go to the beach. Whether it's with other residents / locals, or with visiting family or friends, my go to place is Ritmos Beach Club, also known as Green Chairs. This beach club does not charge for a day pass, you just pay for your food and beverages which are served by friendly staff. Speaking of friendly staff, they really go out if your way to make sure you're comfortable (extra chairs? one more umbrella? No problem!). While you can usually get a spot without problem, you might want to make a reservation at least a day or two in advance to guarantee a spot. Weekends and holidays during high season get very busy and spaces fill up early (11am,12pm). Also, bring lots of sunscreen. While there is plenty of shade with the umbrellas, the reflection of the sun still kisses your delicate skin, so plan accordingly.

Huge beach section, but also a large covered area in case it starts raining (it did in our case). We went to the second story terrace and the view was absolutely beautiful. Servers were attentive and super nice. Ceviche was AMAZINGG, but the fish sandwich left a little to be desired. Honestly can’t complain with such amazing prices for a beach club though. Great Frappuccino as well!!
