Every business has a day where things are off, restaurants are no exception and l was looking forward to trying FEI LONG. We were greeted by the waiter at the door who looked like he was trying to escape, but showed us to our table in a totally empty dining room (on a Friday night). After a lengthy wait he came back and took our order. I had green tea and sweet and sour shrimp, my friend had egg rolls and hot and sour soup. The fried noodles served as a starter were similar to what cardboard probably tastes like, maybe not as flavorful. This is the first Asian restaurant where no chopsticks were offered and the first time I had a canned green tea which didn't taste like tea at all. The shrimp was flavorful as was the overpowering sauce, but l almost lost a tooth on the crust encasing the shrimp. I didn't ask how my friend's dinner was after seeing he barely touched it. There are restrooms, plus highchairs for the little ones, street parking only, bank cards are now accepted, but no handicapped facilities of any kind. The waiter did the heavy lifting by being kind and efficient and saving FEI LONG from being starless on a Friday night. Let's hope this was just a rare exception because other reviews here were extremely positive. But let's be honest. It needs some work.

Wonderful restaurant with good food and good service. We enjoyed the Hot and Sour Soup, the Chicken Chow Mein and the Szechuan Pork. The pitcher of lemonade was a great deal.

Food is really tasty,
It is the best Cantonese food in town. The service is great, the waiter is always ready to help you and explains the menu when you don't understand something. This place is usually busy, but the wait is worth it.

Cash and card friendly. Friendly staff. Every time Mom and I visit, we're always given very friendly service and great food. You don't have to be fluent in Spanish to enjoy foodtime here either.

Simple, flavorful food in great portions. You can get two entrees for $10-$12 USD easily. Perfect for those on a tight or extremely tight budgets.

The speed of service fell from a 5 to a 4 in my opinion, on a day where there were so many customers, the staff was frazzled. But considering the space and the nature of the business, it was understandable.

Great little spot. It's run by two gentlemen and it gets busy...don't be in a rush...this is Puerto Vallarta! The food is amazing!

Good food but insulting service.
When our party of 4 arrived at the restaurant there were 4 people in the restaurant.
We were promptly seated and within minutes ordered.
The problem was 12 to 15 people arrived and ordered well after we placed our order.
Every person in the room was served and completed their food before we recieved our food.
When I asked the waiter how this could happen he said "well if you think so". Suddenly half our food appeared. We had to wait another 10 to 15 minutes to get the remaining entrees. Oddly of the 5 dinners we ordered 4 of the dinners were the same (2 lo mein) and (2 sweet and sour).
By this time the restaurant was empty again as all the late arriving diners had ate and left.

Was a bit hesitant at first. But was amazing! Some of the best Chinese food I've ever had! Must try their sweet and sour pork, and fried wontons. Makes my mouth water thinking of them!
