You're really paying for the phenomenal views here. The food was good. The atmosphere was better. I came during breakfast but I'm sure it would be much better to come during dinner so you can see the sunset over the sea.
Oh and the orange juice tastes like it was the freshest I ever had.

We came to this restaurant recommended by my step father who came here 37 years ago. When i saw it was still open we decided to go. I cannot say in words how good of a time we had there. We got there earlier so we sat by the bar and had a few drinks while striking a conversation with t staff. Every staff member was nice than the last. Truly felt special!

We then moved to our table with an incredible view of the ocean and sunset. Had which (to our surprise) was the best garlic bread we've ever had, followed by a seafood platter that looked and tasted so good. All this while watching one of the prettiest sunsets I've ever had the privilege of experiencing, made a really special experience that i can't wait to repeat. Highly recommend this place if you're in Puerto Vallarta!

We visited El Set on our last night in Vallarta. The view during dinner is absolutely stunning! The food is delicious. I had the jumbo shrimp plate with the adobada seasoning and it was zesty but not too spicy. Others in my party got the parmeson chicken breast, and the molcajete, both smelled delicious!
I'm sure those that have been here will agree that it's a must try when you're in town.

Food good, service good, price fair, but the view is worth it!

To be honest, this place was recommended to us and it was not worth it. Seems like it was for tourists, the view is very pretty as it does look over the ocean but the seafood was overcooked and it was pricier than better restaurants in the neighborhood. Skip for a meal but go for drinks to watch the sunset.

Finally got to check out this spot and so glad I did. It’s a gorgeous place to have a sunset dinner!!!! The food and drinks were great. Service is friendly and the view is absolutely stunning!!!!
