Beautiful view of the beach. Wide walkways. Farmer’s Market on Thursdays. Tons of foodies here that stretches for miles. Locals and expats are super friendly. They are willing to lend and give recommendations. Just ask. Lots of local vendors and friendly. Plenty of cafés too. There’s also a Lix Ice cream kiosk on the pier. I forgot the store name but they sell souvenirs and really good price, located towards The Center district.

Cheers!

Beautiful pier with view of the ocean and beach. Great place for a sunset. The weather is nice everyone is chilling and the fun never stops. Lots of things to do and even at night there are things always going on in Puerto Vallarta

Malecon means boardwalk. No boards but a very enjoyable place to take a walk on. Usually busier in the morning. It's cooler makes sense. Many shops and restaurants along the way. Many people selling their goods and products along the walk. Take your time. Be respectful to the sellers. There trying to take care of their family's.

Wide walking path along the water with nice shops and statues. Be prepared to be approached and followed by many vendors. If that's your thing don't be afraid to reject the first few prices, they will lower them multiple times. Don't fall for the "custom item/spray painted NFL team hats" as you will find the same thing everywhere. Across the street was a very large flea market with 10s of book vendors.

A lovely boardwalk area, wide paved space for people and families to walk next to the beach. Palm trees, vendors of trinkets and souvenirs, statues and quirky art, and lots of street food stalls in the evening.

Stroll along the boardwalk and enjoy the scenic view of the ocean bay. There are many restaurants to choose from, even delicious ice cream. Fresh seafood includes shrimp, lobster, bass fish, and raw oysters. Friendly atmosphere. A very nice way to spend a day in Peurto Villarta.

We enjoyed strolling the length of the boardwalk both in the cool morning hours as well as at night. It's a great spot to people watch and to interact with local artists and street vendors. We visited during the Dia de los Muertos festivities. The central plaza area was filled with towering brightly colored papier mache sculptures. There were also several blocks of shrines to family members and beloved pets.
