Have been to Bar Oceano twice and both times got a different fish fillet. The food is incredibly good for the touristy part of the Malecon. Most of the Malecon features quickly made, bad food for tourists they'll never see again. Bar Oceano actually has quality chefs however.
Service is great as well.

This time I had the Escolar fish fillet which had a side of habanero sauce which was awesome. The fish was perfectly grilled, the rice was flavorful and adding a dollop of the habanero sauce with each bite gave it a little bit of a spicy kick and a creamy flavor.

My girlfriend had the linguini a la sorentina and enjoyed it as well. Her only complaint is that she wished there was a little bit more garlic in it but otherwise it was great.

Will definitely continue coming back here.

Everything was so good! Excellent food, drinks, and service. We ate here 5 years ago while visiting via cruise. It was great then and nothing has changed!

Such a delicious place, the seafood is fresh, very cheap and good attention, it has a lot of variety and a beautiful view

The food is pricy, but really delicious. We were there probably 4-5 times having lots of 1 dollar margaritas, they were actually also the best we tried in the town. The view is stunning. Beef fajitas, mussels were amazing. They also give you warm tortilla chips, just made with delicious salsa. Highly recommend!!!

Great food, service, drinks and location. Mussels, beef fajita, crab taquitos and margaritas were excellent.

We were looking for a low carb meal with a skinny margarita and great views. Home run!
