Really LOVED staying here. The room was comfortably and the views from the roof deck views spectacular! The staff was very attentive. It is in a perfect location, above the bustle of the boardwalk. Iyou have trouble walking stairs, it may not be the best place for you.

I have so many good things to say about Luna Liquida Hotel Boutique.

The first thing you need to know… the views are top notch! I found myself coming back to my hotel for an afternoon siesta just to bask in the beauty of my view of Banderas Bay.

The employees are lovely and are willing to help at anytime. Mercedes offers a wonderful breakfast of fruit, toast, and coffee as you take in the exceptional view.

I stayed in Sol 1. It is a very large room with not one… but TWO balconies. The bathroom is so large and bathtub is like a small swimming pool ???? there is also a plethora of closet space.

The hotel is a good walk up from the beach - you will definitely work those quads and calf muscles but I wouldn’t have had it any other way. I will definitely stay here again!

Great place! I stayed at a few boutiques while visiting and this was one of my favorites. I felt safe and comfortable. Everyone was helpful and kind. Beautiful view from the pool. Great location too!

The best kind of boutique hotel. Quiet, local, great service, one of a kind rooms, spectacular views, easy walk downhill to great eateries, and friendly other travelers. One word of caution: it is a hike up-hill to get to the hotel so factor that in if you are disabled or not in good health. Also there are a lot of stairs in the hotel and no elevators.

The hotel setting, decor and the employees are 5 Star Plus. Because the hotel does not have it's own website, you have to go by pictures and comments that outsiders make. I felt no one has said enough about the stair challenge at every floor level (there are many levels) of the hotel. As a 66 year old woman with a fit 78 year old husband, we found it to be challenging every step (literally) of the way, no we do not have any sort of disability or handicap. We were put in the Arbol room, also known at the Diablo room, which is located in a treehouse setting, the highest "floor level" of the hotel, with 2 winding staircases. Like I said, none of this is described by anyone and the hotel doesn't have a website so I'm sharing this information with you. Also, the hotel is located on a very steep hill, which makes it difficult to walk down 5-6 blocks to the street level. Because it is a boutique hotel, personnel is slim and sometimes hard to find help. There are no phones in the rooms so can't call the front desk and desk hours are spotty and random. For example, my husband was showering and the water went off..........couldn't find anyone to make a report. It's funny until you are the one with a soapy body and no water. Another inconvenience, I went to the pool and when I got out there were no towels (typically in a basket by the pool)..........couldn't easily find anyone without going up and down stairs or going back to the treehouse all wet. Lots of idiosyncrasies within this charming hotel.
I could have avoided some of these issues if they had a website that described the hotel. I would have a least requested a room on a lower floor. Loved PV!!!!!

Arrived at the hotel during the stated business hours and the front gate was locked. There was no one at the front desk and no one would answer the phone. Waited for a few hours and still no one arrived. The hotel looks like it’s shut down. We had to book another hotel for our stay. AVOID THIS PLACE!!!

This is one of the most beautiful hotels we have ever stayed! Absolutely stunning views of downtown and the ocean. You can watch the sunset on the rooftop pool and the fruit, toast, and coffee for breakfast is a great touch. We will definitely stay here again! So gorgeous
