A stop here for lunch on a very hot afternoon provided some welcome shade. We were here around 2:00 and it was not very busy. We ordered beer and water. Got the beer, but the water never came. We did get nachos and salsa... very picante. As to the food, I ordered 2 tacos (steak), 120 p for 2 which seemed a little steep given the size but they were good. My wife ordered a shrimp-stuffed avocado which unfortunately was almost all mayonnaise with very little shrimp, which was quite minced. She brought it to the waitress’s attention and got the second half done properly. Our bill was 280 pesos.

try the shrimp burger if you go here....plus the tostados de tuna are great....the owner speaks english and is very friendly.

I have never had chilaquiles like the ones at La Tradicional!

The service is fast, friendly, and the food is tasty. Their menu is short and to the point, so if you have picky eaters who like certain things, you’ll have to keep to the basics, waffles, chilaquiles, or eggs.

I had the chilaquiles requesón, and i would go back just to have it again. Smothered in a rich creamy gravy-like salsa this is the Mexican version of biscuits and gravy. It was so rich I couldn’t even finish it all.

If you need somewhere to eat after a morning walk on the malecón, go no further than La Tradicional.

Nice restaurant, close to the beach. Great food and people watching on the street. Excellent service.

We came across this place while walking down to the Malecon and decided to stop in for breakfast and we were happy that we did. Very friendly staff and excellent food. We will be back again the next time that we are in PV.

Great food! Their homemade salsa was smoky with some heat and their chips freshly made. I wanted to take the salsa with me when I left! I had a fried tuna taco and ceviche also. They were both so tasty! Very good service as well. Could eat here everyday!
