This hotel could use some TLC. Our bathroom window was broken and our toilet leaked everywhere we couldn't get hot water. Fortunately they gave us a new room which was better but still no hot water. The hidden gem of this hotel is the restaurant upstairs! It's fabulous and the restaurant staff and hotel staff was fantastic!! We would stay there again though because we like old school, and it is definitely that. I would just make sure that everything worked before unpacking.

We had a good one night stay at a reasonable price and the front staff were very pleasant. Located not far from the Malecón. It is not a new hotel by any means, and though it may be worn a little around the edges, that is part of the character of PV. We had a room on the 6th floor. The elevator floor doesn’t always match up with the floor in the hallway and maybe the vanity in the bathroom has seen some years of use. But, the room was well equipped as an efficiency unit, the king bed was very comfortable, and the view across the bay from the Juliette balcony could not be beat. Scrap any concern about an air conditioner ( I didn’t notice if there was one ); leave the window open all night, let the fresh air in, and enjoy where you are, right in the city. 25% discount coupon for dinner was provided at check in. Be sure to dine upstairs. ( see my other review ). We’ll stay here again when in PV for sure.

The staff especially the receptionists have always helped me with my small requests whether its printing or getting a light bulb replaced. And they speak very good English. Sabino the manager has been very helpful too.

Don’t even bother trying to book at this hotel. They will say your name isn’t under a reservation and you’ll be stranded. I booked online, got confirmation of my reservation, called the hotel to make sure (since i was checking in around 6pm) and they said they have no reservation under my name. I spent three hours trying to get this sorted. Ended up calling their call center number to cancel the reservation. What a joke.

This place was very clean, had great views, excellent employees and a nice swimming pool
Also had a very good restaurant on the top floor called Panorama. Very good food. Amazing views of the ocean and the city. It is located very high up into the hill, so if you can't do stairs, this may not be the place for you. Unless you want to take a taxi all the time, which we don't. We felt very safe in this neighborhood and walked at night with no problems. Not much later than 9:30-10:00 tho, so don't know about later. Highly recommended. Would stay here again.

Beautifull place to stay, The Restaurent on the 7 8 and 9 floor is spectacular. The view is simply Amazing..

Great views the building is old but the fairs are pretty cheap, also there is a restaurant in the Rooftop called El Panorama great food, apparently it has been open more than 25 years, one of the best restaurants in Puerto Vallarta for sure. Should try Camarones El Panorama
