Service was great. Food was ok. It gets busy later for dinner. I had fairly low expectations coming here. You get some complimentary warm bread with pesto. The pesto is also good with your entree.

I ordered the signature lasagna. It was a big portion. Unfortunately the lasagna was luke warm and even the cheese on top wasn’t melted.

Not sure if I’ll be back. I’ve been to a few other Italian restaurants in the neighborhood that were better.

I love this family run place. Food is authentic Italian and delicious. Busy restaurant means food turnover is regular and everything is fresh. Great service and delicious reasonably priced meals. Cash only.

There was so little dressing on the Caessr salad, it was barely detectable. For my entree I ordered the Ravioli Formaggio with a side of the homemade Italian sausage. The raviolis were plump pillows of pasta generously stuffed with a tasty ricotta cheese filling but served in a watery marinara sauce that had an unpleasant sour tangy flavor. I believe the Italian sausage was made with beef instead of pork and the casing was very tough. The seasoning was ok but my preference is Italian sausage made with pork. The best best item of the meal was the complimentary cubes of toasted focaccia served with fresh pesto sauce. Faux columns painted with vines and other interior decoration give Frankie's the ambiance of a family restaurant in Rome or Naples. The service was excellent and price fair for portion size but was disappointed with the flavors I tried on this visit.

Wow what a wonderful surprise to find in our neighbourhood unique real Italian food with a good wine list and absolutely delicious dishes the chicken is so tender the service so friendly and we will be back often!

I really enjoyed this place. The food was awesome. We ordered fried ravioli, shrimp fettuccine, and pepperoni pizza. They brought out bread that was perfectly toasted and flavored at no extra charge. The staff was friendly. The only thing that we were not given was a menu in Spanish as my partner doesn’t speak or read English. However I was able to translate the menu items and if they do have a Spanish menu my bad for not asking. We finished up with a tiramisu which was just the way to finish the meal. It looked so good we couldn’t wait for the photo. Haha.

Amazing Italian food!! My husband and I ordered the capricciosa pizza and lasagna and it was DELICIOUS! I highly recommend this place. The sauce on the pizza is very robust and has an amazing flavor and the lasagna is extra meaty! Will definitely be coming back here

Not fancy, but solid, classic Italian red sauce kind of place. Dinner crowd was decidedly older. Service was friendly and efficient. Garlic bread was excellent. I enjoyed the chicken Parmesan and side of linguine Alfredo. Worth a visit for simple, classic Italian favorites.
