Wow! Great ocean view and really really good food. If you were any closer to the water you would be wet. Beachfront seating as well as indoor service available. Smart focused menu demonstrating the skill and balance of the kitchen. Intelligent flavors and surprising nuance make sharing plates a pleasure. Very reasonable prices

The sunset the sunset the sunset. Come here when it’s about to be sunset and get a seat on the beach quick. Wonderful place. Can be quite pricey compared to your local beach bars but this is by far the best among them.

The food options are spectacular and the drink menu too. The employees are very attentive and remember when you requested for a beach seat. I sat here with a few friends and we were disappointed there were not any seats or tables on the beach. Luckily the staff remembered and reminded us and guided us to our new found seats.

You won’t be disappointed!

Amazing views on the water. You can sit on the deck or on the sand. No wait. Pet friendly. Beautiful sunset and fireworks every night.

Initial service was not good. Just wanted to talk to someone about putting our names on the waitlist but was not acknowledged until close to 10 minutes later. Service was much better once we were seated.

This restaurant offered very good food with a nice view. The mixed drinks were good. ABV was on the lighter side but good flavor. Prices were very reasonable. Definitely will be back.

Very reasonably priced and a great beach side set up. Live DJ but played in the background so you could easily talk over the level of the music. Coconut shrimp was some of the best I’ve ever had. Lightly battered, perfectly fried, and with lots of sweet shredded coconut

We've always enjoyed very much El Barracuda but this time we didn't have the best experience. Apparently the kitchen ran out of propane and some of our plates had to be substituted after a super long wait. The atmosphere was as good as always

We visited this restaurant on our first night in Puerto Vallarta. We were staying at a nearby all-inclusive, but wanted to get out and experience the real food of PV. El Barracuda did not not disappoint and I would say we had our very best meal of the trip here. We got there on the early side; around 6pm, and were taken immediately to a table with a gorgeous view of the ocean (I think almost every table has a view of the ocean).
The entire waitstaff was very friendly and efficient. Our appetizer was my single favorite dish; seared octopus and mushrooms, served with garlic butter and baguette. It was AMAZING. I had the smoked marlin tacos which were fine, but my fiancé got the Baja Shrimp Tacos and they were absolutely delicious. This is a place we will absolutely return to on our next visit to PVR.
