DO NOT STAY HERE! Upon arrival there was no parking. Our 1st suite was occupied. The 2nd suite that we were sent to was also occupied. Rooms were old and not maintained. There was never hot water. WiFi never worked. Food was horrible. Ice machine didn't work. Cleaning staff stole $150.00 US dollars. They literally opened our personal bags and stole a gold chain. We had to ask for towels because they apparently forgot them and most likely because they were too busy digging around. When we talked to the Hotel Mgr Sergio, he did not do anything about it. He said this complaint was going to Rosario who is the Mgr of the cleaning staff. I have yet to hear from them. This is so everyone is aware of their operations and not waste your time and money here. It is far from a "3 ***" hotel. STAY ELSEWHERE, EXCEPT HERE.

7-21-22 Still no call from anyone at this place. This is to show how ridiculous and noncaring this place is. They never were going to do anything about it, but it's great to see that others see their reputation. Stay ELSEWHERE and not here. I will edit again whenever I hear from them.

Very good experience. Food was alright. Beds were hard and uncomfortable. Front desk definitely had a language barrier. Pool needs more umbrellas. Be aware of the Iguanas if your not familiar with them! Concierge Jose, staff Jesus and Eric made our trip amazing!!

Disappointed with the service and basic hotel needs.
1) there were no towels available in the room
2) there was no wifi that I could use to work from my room. The wifi that was available near the bar was horrible.
3) the attitude from the lady in charge of the front desk was rude.
4) the snack bar food and restaurant food was bland and undercooked. The pasta was hard and had no flavor, the potatoes tasted like water and the nacho cheese had an odd flavor and was lumpy.
The bell boy was helpful and friendly and he should get a raise.

I would’ve gone to Hotel Riu, but there wasn’t availability. I am absolutely horrified with everything and will not be staying here again.
I walked to the grocery store to get a few ingredients, so that I could eat some decent tasting food.

For a place with high tourist levels, I expected better service and care.

Honestly, for it being A family friendly hotel with all exclusive, the food buffet was one of the worst I've had so far. Not even my kids liked the food and the servers were very rude when serving. I say why be an all inclusive if the food is low graded just to being in the tourist. We all literally just ate some tacos down the street from a taco truck and the there food was 5 star on simple tacos than the hotels buffet. The room seem to be more of a motel type of thing...i think motel 6 has a better comfort stay than these rooms..i stayed in a 2 bedroom room with a small living room with no fridge and one of the rooms ac went out on us with temperatures high as 90° . I think for the cheap price i got...next time expect things like this for what you pay.. or for a cupple more bucks, stay at a much better hotel.

I went to this hotel because it was a recommendation frome some friends, I have been to different resorts in pvr, villa del palmar, fiesta americana and now this one here is what i think of this one.(the reason why we went to costa club was because we weren't planning on coming to pvr and it was a last minute trip and couldn't find another resort)
1. Most of the personnel was friendly, except for the one at coco's bar(next to the buffet) idk if he was tired or frustrated but when ppl was asking for their drinks he wouldn't even try, the drinks were not mixed properly and they were just handed to you with out care that the drink would splash on the counter.
2. Variety of alcohol drinks was minimum and drinks were served in plastic cups
3. The food at the buffet was a 6 out of 10, they basically served the same thing for 3 days, snack bar was the best part 8 out of 10 and the fish ceviches were on point 9 out of 10.
4. Rooms are kind of old, the one we got smelled like it hadn't been opened for years.(some air freshener would be nice)but beds were really clean, also it was a 2 room suite, the ac wasn't working in one of the rooms and that same room was missing a tv, but the beds were really clean.
5. pools are nice and clean
6. Very limited parking space
7.they have access to the beach but you are gonna have to walk like 3 to 5 mins from your room, if you are wondering they dont have rooms with beach views.
8. AND FOR ME THE MOST IMPORTANT THING, IF YOU HAVE KIDS DON'T GO HERE THEY LET PEOPLE SMOKE EVERYWHERE EXCEPT FOR THE ROOMS RESTAURANTS, THEY EVEN SMOKE AT THE POOL AREA THEY JUST DONT CARE ABOUT KIDS, THEY SHOULD FIX PROBLEM ASAP....IN MY OPINION THIS IS THE MAIN REASON WHY I LEFT THE HOTEL AND WAS LUCKY ENOUGH TO FIND A ROOM AT A BETTER RESORT.
