Service and cleanliness beyond perfect.
Very simple hotel: no a/c or heat (don't need it!), no ice machine, no bar or restaurant (but many of each just steps away!).

What you get is a fantastic, clean, very safe room, with a great location and we had great view of the cathedral. Shower with power and hot water, comfy bed.

Pro tips:
For breakfast, exit the hotel, turn left, first entrance on the left. Go all the way upstairs to the balconies overlooking the park / zocalo and the cathedral. Full breakfast with coffee, OJ, bread basket - total for 2 people $5US !!

Pasteries and bread: exit hotel, turn right. End of block, turn right. About 3/4 way down, there's an AMAZING bakery. Come in, wash your hands, grab a tray and load up! Hundreds of choices, all great, and I got 6 pasteries for $2.40US !

Tour buses in the opposite side of the park, recommended!

Taxi to Chalula is cheap, and visit the pyramid and the town...smaller town, great vendors, fruits, everything. Beautiful churches.

I don't know if we got the "booking.com bedroom deal" or if all the bedrooms have thin walls. I could hear a family's noise (toilet flushing, hair dryer,etc.) And for my lucky day, the group of women next to my bedroom were awake and talking until 5 am(at least I fell asleep at that time) i even had to knock on their door to ask to turn it down but almost same thing... I am sorry to rate this cute, clean and well located hotel but that was my experience! Maybe stricter noise policy should be applied!
PS: the terrace, the bedroom and the staff service was 10/10

Positive: Super clean and Covid-19 conscious, fantastic location, excellent facilities and simply wonderful staff. Highly recommended for a central historical location. *Roof terrace has panoramic views of the cathedral across the road. Can't beat it!!. Negative: Male staff were a bit pushy for tips.

Location is outstanding when it comes to the Zocolo, Centro and the Cathedral. Help is very helpful and accommodating. The rooms are clean and the shower has plenty of hot water. Choose a room that is away from the noise (sometimes lobby chatter). T.V. only gets Spanish stations, no English speaking ones. Love the rooftop overlooking the Cathedral and the Zocolo (which is still temporarily closed). Many nice restaurants and also museums nearby too!

Positive: Rooftop view is quite nice, you can see Zacalo and Cathedral de Puebla from there. Location in generall.. Negative: We've got a very small room inside the hotel with a little window so it was dark all the time. Even though it was very loud at night (on the other site of the street there's a rooftop restaurant with a very loud music and the walls are so thin that we could hear our neighbours). Parking is located far away from the hotel and it's a valet parking. Wifi wasn 't the greatest..

Positive: The location could not be better... just steps from the zocalo, and we enjoyed sunsets from the roof terrace. The staff was very friendly and they put out extra treats since we were there on Valentine's Day. Great value for the price and would stay here again..

The location is awesome, but the service is pretty poor
