The rooms are flawlessly clean and very well equipped. The rooftop of the building has an amazing view while you can chill in the hammock and have some food.

Really great stay!! I enjoyed my days in the apartment, this apartment has all that you need, is like living in your own home, is near by the beach and the 5th avenue! and has a good rooftop to have a little tan! I recommend it 100%

I stayed at 'Mi Casa Es Su Casa' in Playa del Carmen for the month of Nov. 2020 booked through Daniel's AirBnB rental business. I booked the penthouse of this building and quickly made myself at home. The location is excellent, with the beach about a five minute (350m) walk, while 5th Ave is about half that distance. My month-long stay showed that the majority of occupants are short term tenants—many staying as few as one night. And as someone who really values building community while traveling, my time there did not allow for much of this. The building is a newer construction with tidy communal areas and close to many delicious places to eat, which was invaluable. Though, suppose you rent the penthouse as I did -- in that case, you may often have to ascend the spiral staircase outside in the middle of the night to turn upside down the outdoor furniture, which makes a cacophony from the uneven (broken) chairs "playing drums" on the tiled floor (your roof) all night - even keeping a New Yorker like myself awake many a night. There is minimal on-site parking out front, but because I wasn't driving myself, it wasn't a problem for me at all. Across from the building are two big green patches of undeveloped land (home to some friendly bats). Those things made me superbly happy, and the stay extra special for someone who appreciates greenery and added privacy as I do. I'm also built like a linebacker, and walking past these poorly lit areas at night wasn't a concern for me, but it certainly could be for some people should they be solo or the simple fact that women in this world have to worry about terrible things such as this. There are routine tourist police patrols throughout the neighborhood, though.

The unit's large windows allow a gorgeous cross breeze to come through, which can feel magical, but not one single window had an adequately fitted screen. Along with that yummy breeze also comes countless mosquitos, which will enjoy biting you all evening and morning (not uncommon for tropical regions such as this). The kitchen was well stocked with equipment, though I only used the toaster oven and hob to make myself tea. Nearby Super Aki u0026 Walmart helped to make it all feel very comfortable. My only advice is that you need to be proactive in communicating with this team - I could not rely on them to tell me important information that impacted my security and directly impacted my work schedule and pocketbook. Nothing dishonest, and everything worked out in the end. 'MattzTravelz' Verdict: GREAT (brilliant even) for a short term stay, but too challenging for an executive digital nomad or long-term tenant. And remember, life is too sweet to be salty - safe travelz.
