What a find! Definitely worth our time and money. Big thanks to Alex, his family and friends for coordinating these lessons and for the bachata classes! We loved meeting the other students in the language and optional dance classes as well. My fiance and I took two weeks of intensive Spanish lessons here with Alex. We really enjoyed our time and the lessons were quite rigorous. We went into the classes with some basic Spanish skills. Alex taught completely in Spanish (with some code switching for some words in English) but he was careful to speak at a pace and with vocabulary and grammar that was accessible for us to understand. We met from 10am until 2pm everyday with a break in between. We had conversation lessons, grammar, reading and writing. Our class sizes ranged between 3 to 6 people, depending on the day but I think we all felt that we had plenty of opportunity to speak and practice individually. I am very pleased with the progress I've made here and may continue lessons via Skype in the future! Also, big thanks to Javier for the fun bachata lessons!

I would give 10 stars if I could. I learned Spanish in school and did group classes as an adult for years but didn’t remember much. Within just three weeks of one on one tutoring with Professor Alejandro (Alex) I have improved tremendously. The lessons were effective and he’s very patient. What makes this place so special is the family owned aspect and the way they make you feel so welcomed. You’ll learn Spanish and get to know the beautiful culture. Prof. Alex and his daughter include cooking classes and salsa lessons at the school as well! The prices are extremely affordable for this experience of a lifetime. Do NOT miss out.

What a great little school in Playa del Carmen! Our two teenage daughters took private one-on-one lessons for two hours a day for one week. They had a wonderful time and learned a lot of Spanish!

The teachers and management are flexible and accommodated our schedule. Also, the school was hosting a college-age student when we were there and she seemed to be having a good experience. So they could probably arrange a homestay for you as well.

The teachers and owners are so nice. They had our family over for a Mexican "cooking class" one day which turned into a fun get-together. We encourage anyone who wants to send their kids to learn Spanish in an immersion environment to consider this school. You will not be disappointed!

If I could give 10 stars I definitely would! I had the best time here and learned so much!

I took 3 weeks of Spanish classes with Alex, who is a great teacher!

The classes were always funny, well stuctured and super helpful!

Once I am settled back here in Germany I will continue with my Spanish and will take online classes!

I can 100% recommend going there!

I would highly recommend to everyone. Definitely worth it

I took private lessons with Haleyda.
In around 35 hours of classes in 2 months I significantly increased my language skills.
It was my first contact with Spanish and now I have no problem to have have chat with people :D

It is mostly because of great teaching talent of Haleyda. She is very positive and patient person. Very friendly.

Classes were always interesting, kept in good atmosphere. We always started and ended with conversation in Spanish. I felt more like friend than student there, always welcomed.

During classes we barely used English. I was positively suprised how quickly I was able to understand in Spanish.

We had such a wonderful experience of 2 weeks learning spanish from scratch. The whole family is just amazing. They are so kind and friendly and made the place something very special!
Haleyda was our teacher, and i can't imagine someone teaching spanish to people with no skills better than she did! Despite that the whole family was always giving out good recommendations and were always very helpful!
If you want to learn spanish in playa del carmen, you have to go to this spanish school!!!!

I took private Spanish lessons. So much fun and really enjoyed the conversation based approach. Haleyda was a wonderful warm and friendly teacher. I appreciated the air conditioning in the classroom. I would highly recommend it. I plan to return next year and take group lessons.
