This is a small hole in the wall that serves great food at great prices. They could work a little bit in their service and that’s why I didn’t give them 5 stars but other than that I really recommend it!!

Treated like family * my husband and I have visited Antico Bistro a few times now and every meal is unforgettable! This hole in the wall is simply amazing ! Chris and Veronica are great host the kind restaurant owners should look up to , they are kind and u0026 warm , they make you feel like you just got home for a meal . Veronica the chef is actually from a very small town in Italy , so more authentic you will not get in playa de Carmen and the prices are just about right . You will find shack is about 1 1/3 blocks from Quinta Avenida .

They served my 4 year old raw chicken, when I confronted them, the chef stated that the chicken was sous vide so it couldn't have been undercooked. When I showed them how pink it was, the toke it away and still charged me full price. My kid is sick now and I would never recommend this place. They deserve 0 stars. Don't eat at this place. Nice waiters but the chef is very dangerous. He said you can't under cook a sous vide meat!

Possibly the worst meal I've had in Playa. Service with a smile that could never excuse the lasagna that was cold in the middle, the heavily salted salad and the almost raw pasta.

Couldn't even finish our meal although we were starving after being made to wait for over an hour. The worst part is the prices are the same as Romeo's or Osteria de Roma nearby. Go there instead and save yourself from a sad dining experience.

Tasty Italian food in Playa del Carmen! Very authentic. My biggest issue while here is smokers. The six people in the restaurant including the workers took turns standing right outside the doorway and lit up constantly. But the food was really good and price was cheap.

Wow, just wow! Very authentic Italian dinner... Closest I've ever had to my Nonnas cooking in a restaurant. Very friendly service. Reasonably priced. Would definitely recommend this gem!
