Used to be much better, but it’s overpriced for the quality that they offer now. The tacos have very little meat and it doesn’t taste as good as it smells. There are so many better options in Oaxaca. I’d suggest staying away.

Most of the food in Oaxaca City is really good. This place was a disappointment. The tacos are expensive and don't come with any condiments, just meat. You get nothing with them and there's not much flavor. Really I'm dinging these guys for the customer service or lack thereof. The people at the counter seemed like we were bothering them. Overall would not return.

Simple but amazing fare! These wonderful people have been making epic food for decades, and they know what their patrons like! Anything on the menu will make you happy and the price is well worth it. Follow your nose and you can’t miss Tacos Sierra. If you leave hungry, it’s your own fault.

5 tacos al carbon for 60 pesos. They are delicious and it's a sweet deal. Note that for 30 pesos more you can get avocado, tomato, and quesillo on the side if you want to eat tacos the gringo way.

Despite the hours listed on Google maps, I've tried 4 different days/times to visit this place, and every time is been closed. I've tried mid-week during the day twice, and during the weekend on the evenings. Never open, therefore I must conclude it's permanently closed. There is still a marquee above the doors. Doors that just never open.

Overpriced, overrated but decent. Small portions. Plain. So many other places to go that are as good or much better!!
