Great burger and awesome fish tacos!! The rooftop view of Santo Domigo was amazing. We happened to meet the owners who were super friendly, as well. Had a chance to try the house mezcal and it was great, too. Definitely recommend if you're in Oaxaca!

Very kind staff. They have interesting and balanced proposals for "menú del día". The terrace is very nice and comfortable. It has a great view to the public square Santo Domingo. Prices are reasonable.

This is one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca! I always get the falafel burger with french fries. As a vegetarian living here, it can be quite difficult to find many restaurants with veggie options. The size of the burger is hearty, the bun warm and soft, and the french fries are always hot and crispy. If you are craving a burger and you're vegetarian and you're in Oaxaca then give Sur a Norte a try! Gracias!

Falafel and falafel burger! And both are 5 stars. Oaxaca can be a hard place to find vegetarian food and I didn’t think it’d be possible to find falafel...simply because I haven’t seen it at all. But wow is this good...the burger is messy in the best way, falafel is soft inside and crispy outside, and the tzatziki sauce is incredible. Good crinkle cut fries too and Modelo bottles available.

Also, I can’t forget the view over Santo Domingo is unbeatable, and quieter than some of the other rooftops.

Amazing place for an early dinner and sunset!

THIS IS THE PLACE TO GO!!!! The fish tacos are perfection as well as their cocktails!! The hospitality is out of this world and this where you NEED to go!!!
