The tasting menu was really wonderful. A lot of different flavors and textures from all over Mexico. Some things were better than others but it was a great opportunity to try a lot of unique dishes from this beautiful country and region.

Staff is also quite attentive and the service is wonderful.

I highly recommend trying the tasting menu here! This was one of my favorite restaurants in Oaxaca. The food was amazing, service on point, prices reasonable, and a very well executed tasted menu experience with pacing, food quality and creativity, and service. I’m excited to come back here when I return to Oaxaca!

Absolutely wonderful! We went to El Destilado for my husband’s birthday with his family and we did the tasting menu. We thought we’d do the 6 courses at first but changed our minds and asked to switch to the 9 after the first few plates. They kindly agreed to accommodate us. The pairing was also absolutely worth it! On top of that, the service was impeccable, the staff super friendly and thoughtful, and the environment very beautiful. We were in heaven.
At the end of the week, we went back with my husband to have tacos and drinks on their rooftop. Again: impeccable, friendly, delicious and beautiful!

I reserved a spot the night before and did the six course tasting menu. They did a veg-friendly version and it was excellent! There's a real simplicity and distillation to the food. The watermelon tomato dish with the plant-based rinds was incredibly flavorful and very inventive - probably my favorite course of the meal.

Amazing place with a rooftop I didn’t even know that exist! Tiny dishes, expensive but tasty, they have mainly tacos so if you’re really hungry- it will be few hundred pesos… good cocktails, the servers are very nice, patient and welcoming which is important because sometimes it takes time because the language. Yeah, cool spot, fancy if you wanna have a nice dinner out with some ppl you love.

After the alcohol pairing and the tasting menu, I was pleasantly surprised that I was full!

Normally, these fancy smancy multi course meals leave me wanting a little more after several small portions, but this time, I was drunk and content.

The alcohol pairing isn't much more at all, and you get a lot of alcohol. A lot. It makes for a great way to start or end your night.

It was also all just delicious. I did not regret eating one thing.

Recommended and for the gluten-free human. The only things swapped for gluten-free alternatives were the beer (for more wine) and some dessert (removing a cake of sorts for more ice cream).

Run, do not walk to this intimate restaurant with a great rooftop bar and restaurant. The cocktails are unique and well executed by a very talented mixologist. We indulged ourselves with the 9 course tasting menu with drink pairings. Everything was spot on including the service. This place was a real find for us! Highly recommended. Ask for other restaurant recomendación from their Jefe del Bar, Diego. He is a wealthy of gastronomic knowledge.
