Located in picturesque Jalatlaco, @barriodejalatlacorestaurante is perfect to spend a quiet afternoon on their rooftop, enjoying delicious seafood, drinks, and desserts.

Service is superb. Thank you!

Their sweet cornbread is by far one of the best I have had.

Came on a Monday night and were the only ones at the restaurant the whole time. Wasn’t a problem with us, but a real shame because a lot of patrons were downstairs having pizza and pasta when they could’ve been having amazing authentic local food. This place feels super underrated.
Service was great, food was amazing, and ambiance lovely. We had a salad, soups, and dessert. Plus cocktails. Cocktails were strong, but tasty. Complimentary salsa and tostadas were delish (thought spicy so be careful). When I came back to Oaxaca this will definitely be on my list.

Lipstick on a pig. This place looks incredibly nice, but don't be fooled. The staff seems very disorganized and confused. We specifically asked if we could order breakfast and were told yes, so we placed our order. 15 minutes later, the server comes back to say it's too late for the kitchen to make breakfast. Changing our order to a salad, we sat another 30 minutes with no food or update on when it would be coming. At this point we asked for the bill for our drinks and left for tacos at a fantastic local spot.

Beautiful balcony, friendly service. I didn't try the food but I had delicious pineapple grapefruit cocktail.

???? Make sure to have a reservation for dinner.
???? Great cocktails. Try the Aceto Reyes.

???? Don’t fooled by the entryway appereance. Just climb the stairs a breath fresh air.

Nice place, but their mezcal is totally overpriced. $280 for a one and $260 for the other felt like a rip off. Would have been nice to be told beforehand. Found a very similar one in town for less than twice that for the entire bottle. One of us is a mezcal expert.
