First meal in Oaxaca city and it was such a great surprise. Best Japanese restaurant I have tried in MEXICO! Love the atmosphere service drinks and food! We did not have reservation but waited for 10 minutes to get a table. It is busy and better to make a reservation in advance. Amazing price for this quality.

We had a wonderful dinner here tonight. The server was very attentive and kind. We had 2 orders of the spicy tuna rolls, and 2 ramen dishes. Excellent flavor and presentation. The restaurant setting was lovely.

Came for a late night snack with my lover. Together we shared a maki role, spring role and mini ramen- all vegetarian and tasty. Our friends suggested this place as a gluten-free friendly spot and they were right. The staff was patient and had our ramen noodles switched to rice noodles. Often rice noodles can be bland in a ramen but here it was rich and fitting. We left happy and satisfied.

I've been to some amazing ramen places across the US and in Japan, so I have a very high bar. I had the tan tan men and it was okay. The food is better than the Korean ramen in Oaxaca, but still quite a ways from satisfying and being authentic. What I did love was the setting. The entire space is a work of art; a mix of modern, traditional, Japanese, and Mexican. Three stars for the food. Five stars for the setting.

The ramen was delicious and so was the sushi although not the best I've had. Still, good quality service and food - a bit on the pricier end. Also, they have a great atmosphere and service! I would definitely come back here.

It's a upper place in Oaxaca city. If you go in busy hours might need to make a reservation. However, it's really disappointing. The food is barely average. For a seafood ramen, it was tasteless. I ordered hot sauce (extra charge) to help it a bit. The staff is very attentive and welcoming, that makes it better. Also, the place is very beautiful. But, the food isn't worth for the price... If you have tasted ramen before, you'll see.

BEST Japanese restaurant in Oaxaca, and honestly, in Mexico. Just got back to México after living in Japan for a year and Kintaro makes me feel like I'm right back on the streets of Japan eating Japanese food! The seafood ramen is a MUST and basically everything else on the menu!

Affordable and great environment. I would definitely recommend making a reservation as it is super popular. 100% recommended!!!
