Chill vibes, excellent mezcal, good times...
This is a (small) "mezcal speakeasy" in the back of Aloha - a tiki bar. Mind you, if you get there before 7pm, it's basically only the mezcal speakeasy (though you can hang out in the totally chill tiki area with your mezcal). This, I highly recommend, especially for those long slow afternoons when you really don't have anything better to do!
Oh, the people are nice, and the (self-sourced) mezcal is *excellent*!!!

Cute little spot in the back of Aloha Oaxaca. We had the best time trying a bunch of different funky mezcal/sotol. ???? highly recommend, especially if you’re looking for an intimate mezcal experience. Super knowledgeable bartender, great variety!!

Excellent experience visiting the bar. Carlos is a super nice host, passionate and knowledgeable about mezcal. He was super friendly and made the experience well worth the visit.

Skip the touristy mezcal tasting places in the Centro and make a walk to this place to experience some top quality mezcals and unique blends. Yes it’s a little pricey, but for the quality and experience (also compared to prices in Centro for poor mezcals) I would not have a second thought spending my money here.

Nothing but good things to say about the Mezcal and Carlos. Got caught in a rainstorm and ended up hanging out here for a few hours trying just about everything he had to offer. Left with one bottle and wish I would have bought another. Will definitely be back!

Cut little bar with super friendly staff. Prices are on the high side though

Carlos knows a lot of distillates. Don’t hesitate to go and ask all your questions. The speciality are the mezcales and sotoles from the different regions of oaxaca and Mexico. Congrats! ????????????????????????

We had a great time here trying mezcal and talking to Carlos about mezcal, Oaxaca, and more. Would highly recommend.
