We were told by 3 locals this is the best typical local food restaurant in the area . It’s a balance of perfect local food with elegant setting. Prices are reasonable.The restaurant is small. Get the mole sample plate- Degustacion de 7 moles. Service is very good. Drinks were good. The Delicioso pastel de merengue pie was spectacular. They have jars of mole and deserts for sale at the back of the restaurant.

Amazing authentic Oaxacan food. You can start off with a sampler of 7 homemade moles and then choose 1-2 of your favourites, paired with the recommended meat and served with rice in the middle. Best way to experience Oaxacan mole! Plus fast and friendly service to top it all off.

Hands down the best food I’ve had in Oaxaca, and the service, wow ???? . You MUST try the 7 Mole Testing ????????????. The owners run the place and make sure you’re having a wonderful experience. The staff Is just wonderful. You will feel like at a nice warm family dinner.

Incredible food. Seriously so good. We got the 7 mole taster plate and a mezcal cocktail, wine cocktail and it was honestly just amazing. The host and our server were honestly just such nice people and I really appreciated it. The moles were so good and our server went through each one and described it for us and then answered our questions, gave advice, just chatted with us, telling us about moving here from DF 10 years ago and giving advice on Oaxaca. I honestly can’t wait to go back and buy mole to take home. Thanks everyone!

Excellent service and foods. They explained the different Moles and make sure you get your foods the way you want. It's far from the tourist crowd so that's a plus. Also, they play Jazz music and make you feel comfortable. Highly recommend them.

The space is very nice and we enjoyed the opportunity to try the 7 moles before placing our order. The food was good, not great, and it was expensive. We had better meals at several other restaurants in Oaxaca.

The best Mexican food I ever had. We first tried 7 different "moles" to decide which one we liked. The service is great. I can tell the people who work here love what they do. This is a hidden treasure, you cannot see it from the street. Definitely recommended. I think I will come back every day while I am in Oaxaca.
