HOLY COW! Stumbled across this place by “accident” and it was hands down the best meal I’ve had in the two weeks of being in Oaxaca City. A MAGNIFICENT 3 course meal for 160 Pesos! Go. Just go right now. Literal affordable luxury ????????

Muy delicioso! Our 3rd day in Oaxaca and this was by far the best breakfast / brunch (and some of the best food overall) in our entire trip! Delightful and appreciative staff, highly recommended!

Las Chilmoleras is my favorite lunch spot in Oaxaca. Their menú del día is one of the best deals in town. I know there are a few places that offer this set menu that changes daily, but I love the way Las Chilmoleras does it.

The menú del día comes with an agua fresca, a veggie soup, a main that you select and a dessert. The food is well-presented and flavorful. By the time I’m done, I’m happily satisfied.

The service is kind and accommodating. My dog and I are frequent diners here, so they know my dog, give him pets and give him a bowl of water.

Ordered the menu of the day and got 3 dishes and a drink for under 200 pesos. Food came out quickly. Such high quality, creative and delicious recipes at an incredible price. Definitely worth going to.

This is my favorite restaurant in Oaxaca and I eat out for every meal in the city! The food is incredible, from presentation to flavor. Whether you come for breakfast or for a lunch / early dinner and enjoy the menu del dia, it’s photo-worthy, so delicious, and feels so special for a very affordable price. Everyone who works there is also very friendly, the music is great, and Jalatlaco is a wonderful neighborhood. Also the chilaquiles are what dreams are made of. No pictures because I ate it too quickly :)

Las Chilmoleras is a hidden gem in Oaxaca! I’ve gone at least three times now and each time it’s different and exquisite. Definitely worth going for the menu del día — you’ll love the agua del día, soup, main, and dessert. I was blown away by the intricate flavors and beautiful presentation.

The staff is very friendly and attentive. It’s a small and extremely hardworking team. They clearly put a lot of love and care into the dishes!

For anyone visiting Oaxaca, Las Chilmoleras should be at the top of your list!

Small quiet place, I didn’t expect to get such an amazing food!! It’s much more polish and stylish then it looks from outside.
