Absolutely outstanding !!! Lady that runs the hotel and all her staff are absolute sweethearts and very helpful with any of your needs . Cleaning girls do an outstanding job every day keeping everything spotless. Two , three blocks from El Centro, but very nice and quiet at night . I don't think location can get any better . No guests and no alcohol allowed and that keeps it peaceful and quiet. Parking a block away , but if you on the motorcycle like me they will let you park it in a courtyard, so your moto is safe . Highly recommend it for travelers and adventurers !!!

I stayed at this hotel twice! Well-run hotel with great helpful hosts, clean rooms, decent wifi, reasonably quiet, beautiful courtyards, very central location close to everything. Comfortable mattress and pillows. Reasonably priced. Will gladly stay here again!

Great hotel with all you can drink fresh coffee in the morning. The lady that works here is very nice! Rooms are clean and spacious. Some of the nicest I've been in mexico. I stayed in a single with shared bathroom. Showers are hot! And courtyard is a great spot to hang out and very peaceful with all the plants and greenery. Only thing that could be improved is sealing the doors and cracks around them so mosquitos can't get in. I used an extra towel and that worked well to keep out the mosquitos

Amazing hotel! It was clean, with nice and helpful staff, in the heart of Oaxaca! We especially liked the atmosphere and the interior - authentic Oaxaca style! You can enjoy the nice weather at the terrace!

We stayed for 10 nights and really enjoyed our stay. Its just a few blocks from the main zocalo and the main walking street. The hotel has gorgeous bougainvilla and hibiscus growing in the courtyard. There's a shared kitchen with a mini fridge where you can store milk, yogurt, leftovers and there are bowls, spoons, etc you can use. We booked a quadruple room which was quite large - plenty of space for 2 ppl. The room was quiet and cool, and there was a working fan. Plenty of storage space and a shower with hot water. There's also a lovely terrace overlooking the city. They don't allow alcohol, so the place is peaceful and quiet, not a party place. Super clean and secure. We will definitely come back!

We ended up staying 1 week at Posada del Centro because the room were simply so comfortable and quiet, the location is very central and the staff was very helpful and super friendly. We felt like home during our entire stay. We enjoyed especially the big rooftop terrace. The place is also spotless clean and I had the feeling they constantly cleaned around. Also everyday we had new fresh towels (which i think it's a bit unnecessary and not ecological) but it felt like in a 5-star hotel! We were sad to leave our cosy room but if we are back in Oaxaca we would definitely stay there again.
